A word from Pastor Derek:
Beth and I just found out that we are going to have a baby. We both are so excited about it! One of the greatest things about it is that we get to spend this momentous time in our life with all of you! Beth and I are confident that the Lord has his hand on us. We look forward to raising a family among friends and people who will love our child along with us.

If you went all your life and only told ONE person about Jesus and what he means to you, would you be a failure? Think about this. On a given day in the past, someone, took a step in reaching YOU with Jesus. You were that ONE person. Now it is up to you to keep the chain going. DO YOU LIKE CHAIN LETTERS AND FWDS? Jesus started one for YOU a long time ago. He expects us to keep it going. HERE'S THE DIFFERENCE--this is a life or death situation. Life in Heaven with Jesus forever, or life in Hell with just ONE, yourself, forever. Make it your mission, to find ONE person who YOU can reach. Make it a point this week to invite someone to church, so that they have an opportunity to receive Jesus as their Lord and Savior.

Tues. 8th Prayer meeting "Global Day of Prayer" 7pm
Prayer meeting starts at 7 pm. Its going to be an awesome event to be apart of something so BIG!
Wed. 7th Special "Global Day of Prayer" youth service
Youth groups from all over Madison County are being invited to join YOUR youth group for a corporate setting of prayer. This is going to something you don't want to miss. Come and get involved. Don't be afraid to get your hands dirty!
Tues. 13th Movie Night! Meet at the Church @ 4:30
In light of the mother, daughter banquet on Monday, we are going to be going to Edwardsville to Showplace 12 to watch a movie. General Admission for a movie is aprox. $8.00 + refreshments. A vote will be taken concerning a couple choice movies, however Pastor Derek has veto power. Its going to be fun and hope that everyone that can, will come.
Sat. 17th St. Louis Day!!! Westfield Mall. Meet at the church @ 11am.
This is a huge mall with everything you can imagine! They have an apple store, sharper image, brookstone, and more!
